The Chevrolet Equinox and Blazer are family-friendly, adventure-ready SUVs that can tackle your most difficult and longest drives with ease. If you’re considering a sporty family vehicle, either is a great choice. And they’ll be even better choices very soon if you’re thinking about going electric. Chevrolet has revealed that the Equinox EV and Blazer EV are coming very soon.
With the announcement of the new Blazer EV and Equinox EV, Chevrolet hopes to make eco-friendly driving an attainable option for drivers looking for an electrified powertrain to move their lives on the road.
“The Equinox has always played an important role for Chevrolet as the second-highest selling brand nameplate,” said Steve Hill, Chevrolet vice president. “Providing an affordable EV option in the industry’s highest-volume segment proves Chevy is going to make EVs available to everyone.”
The Blazer EV will be available at Golden Motors next spring while the Equinox EV RS will be rolling onto the market in the fall of 2023. Chevy hasn’t released when the Equinox EV LT will be available but has noted that the starting MSRP will be approximately $30,000.
The Chevy Equinox and Blazer EV models are the latest eco-friendly additions to the Chevy lineup. The automaker has already announced the electrified 2024 Silverado EV.
If you can’t wait for the EV models, the current Chevrolet Equinox and Chevrolet Blazer are great options for families. Both are available at Golden Motors in Cut Off, Louisiana — Where Price is Priority.
